English Speaking Club (ESC)

What is English Speaking Club (ESC)?

NCG StudentsEnglish Speaking Club is designed for international students who want to enhance their conversational English skills. It's a social, fun and relaxed setting where everyone is encouraged to talk, share their experiences, practice their speaking, develop confidence to talk in public and successfully interact with others.

Why should you join?

You’ll meet new people and make new friends while you practise your English and become a more confident communicator. Weekly ESC sessions aim to prepare you for presentations, practise valuable interview skills, understand how to apply communication strategies to team environments and enables you to discover how to network effectively.

As a bonus, undergraduate students get 10 GLP points for participation if they attend 10 ESC sessions across all weeks. Postgraduate students are welcome to attend, but not eligible for GLP points.

Want to get involved?

The program starts in week 2 and continues until week 11. To get full benefit of the program we encourage you to participate in all ESC sessions.

The program is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students. All participants can join for FREE! No booking required! Simply show up and join in.

To enable more participants to benefit from the program we deliver 3 sessions per week. Every week the sessions are covering the same content.
