BUSINESS ANALYST INTERNSHIP

1 POSITION

Computer Frameworks is looking to engage a keen and motivated student to join the team as a Business Analyst Intern. The successful student will work with our team of developers to understand the requirements of web app solutions.The specific solution that the student will work on is a patient management application, currently in flight.

Objectives of the activity:

  • Completion of Sprint developments for the Neo Claiming and Patient Management software product.
  • Completion of Sprint Developments for the Cryoworks preservation management software.
  • Completion of sales fulfilment with new customers
  • Complete testing of all new functions

Intended outcomes:

  • Quality product for the Neo Claiming and Patient Management software.
  • Quality product for the Cryoworks Preservation Management Software
  • Quality relationships with existing and new customers
  • Improved customer acquisition
  • Improved customer retention

The Neo Claiming and Patient Management software is a strategic product for CF in which CF intends to release initially locally and then internationally as a light weight Patient Management software solution which can be used by a single practitioner up to a medium to large clinic with many doctors and nurses. 

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers providing customer service to existing customers
  • Understanding the functionality of what is working well and what needs improvement
  • Testing of all new functions, taken as requirements from customers.
  • Document new requirements as epics/features and stories with inclusion in the product backlog.
  • Systems testing and UAT liaison with customers.
  • Customer relationship building, developing confidence with the end client.
  • Project coordination to complete requirements implementation and showcase demonstrations.
  • Problem solving.
  • Customer on-boarding. Adding new requirements to the product backlog.
  • Coordination of team activities when they do arise

Skills Required:

  • Diligent, team player
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Business writing experience will help (e.g. test plans, work-briefs, requirements documents etc.)
  • Able to work autonomously, a passion for understanding clients needs/requirements and delivering them the right solution.
  • Ideally studying a Bachelor of Commerce with a Bachelor of IT

EXPECTED COMMENCEMENT DATE WEEK STARTING 6 MARCH 2017 (WEEK 2, SESSION 1)

Please note that this is an unpaid placement, however, it will provide valuable work experience. The successful student must also enrol in FOBE200 or FOBE300 in Session 1, 2017 and must be able to fit this unit as an elective in their program. See the Student Handbook for details on this unit. The unit will give you academic credit for the placement This internship will be held at Computer Frameworks office, located at Level 8, 447 Kent Street Sydney, NSW 2000.

The successful student will also be required to have a criminal background check, which will be paid for by the organisation.

This will be an unpaid internship you will only be required to complete a maximum of 150 hours. Working days and hours can be negotiated with your direct supervisor.
