All positions will be based at 4 Drake Avenue Macquarie Park. All students will be required to work 1 day per week for 12-13 weeks (100 hours in total) week commencing 6 March 2017 (Week 2, Session 1 2017). The successful candidates will be required to negotiate their working day and hours with the Supervisor upon commencing the role.

HUMAN RESOURCES ROLES

CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY – INDIGENOUS PROGRAM SUPPORT INTERNSHIP- 1 POSITION

Do you have an interest in corporate policy making and advocacy? Are you passionate about supporting diversity and inclusion?

This internship is ideal for students seeking experience in human resources policy making or corporate social responsibility.

Projects will include:

  • Supporting internal and external stakeholder engagement, including the Indigenous Inclusion Working Group
  • Finalising input for Konica Minolta's Indigenous Strategy
  • Developing an internal and external communication plan
  • Event Management for launch of Konica Minolta's Indigenous Strategy

The successful student will:

  • Have good written communication skills
  • Have the ability to work with others as well as independently.
  • Ideal for business, human resources, marketing, learning & development, policy or humanities students.

MARKETING & MEDIA ROLES

MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS INTERNSHIP - 1 POSITION

This internship offers you an insight into Marketing, Events and Communications.
Tasks will include:
  • Implementing and using EMS
  • Marketing data mining
  • Assisting with events (creating and mailing invites, logistics, post-communications and lead tracking)
  • CRM analysis - populating and maintaining (contacts, campaigns, leads)
  • Assisting with a variety of other tasks including external marketing communications (e.g. Marketing News and Case Studies)
The successful student will:
  • Have basis knowledge of data related marketing tolls (EMS and market automation)
  • Have basic knowledge of CRM
  • Be studying Marketing and/or Communications

MULTIMEDIA INTERNSHIP - 1 POSITION

This is a great opportunity for someone who is skillful in graphic design, multimedia and who may also have an interest in Learning and Development.

Tasks will include:

  • Learning Management System Administration
  • General Administration tasks
  • Global Certification dispatch procedures
  • Creation of web based assessment
  • Assist the National Technical Support Department as required
  • Modification and creation of Web Based Training Material, this task requires the following skills:
    • Intermediate/Advanced PowerPoint Skills
    • PowerPoint Animation/Audio skills
    • Image creation
    • Creativity
    • Attention to detail
    • Adobe Fireworks/Photoshop skills

The successful student will:

  • Have the required skills stated above
  • Be studying Marketing and/or Media or IT
  • Be highly skillful in graphic design and multimedia

MEDIA INTERNSHIP - 1 POSITION

The successful student will have a marketing, media communications or visual art background and will work with the People & Culture team to research, design and roll out a video which promotes our Employer Value proposition (EVP).
This video will be used in future recruitment advertising campaigns.
Tasks will include:
  • Research best practice for employee video
  • Updating Konica Minolta People & Culture Intranet
  • Contribute to the Konica Minolta social media pages
  • Research best practice for employee video
Main projects will include:
  • New launch of employee video
  • Assisting with the development on delivery of Konica Minolta EVP

The successful student will:

  • Be studying Media, Communications, Marketing, Visual Arts or IT
  • Have strong attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Power-Point and Excel) skills
  • Have the ability to work with others as well as independently

EXPECTED COMMENCEMENT DATE – WEEK COMMENCING MONDAY 6 MARCH (WEEK 2 SESSION 1 2017).

Please note that these are unpaid roles, however, it will provide valuable work experience. The successful students must also enrol in FOBE200 or FOBE300 in Session 1, 2017 and must be able to fit this unit as an elective in their program. See the Student Handbook for details on this unit. The unit will give you academic credit for the placement
