Passionberry is a Marketing Consultancy working on a variety of marketing projects. We do marketing strategy, creative and campaign implementation. Highly flexible, we operate on as needed basis working project to project.

At Passionberry, we're looking for a passionate student to intern with us and work on real-life business’ Google AdWords and Analytics account, working alongside a professional, Sydney-based, Google Marketer as part of a wider Marketing Agency team.

The aim of the internship placement is as follows:

  • To develop insights into Google campaigns as well as make changes as required
  • Teach the successful student the basics of Google Marketing and then have them execute standard work over the term of the placement.
  • Training someone up to be good enough to take on in a part-time paid position (fitted around their study) to work with us on an ongoing basis as part of the Marketing Agency post internship placement!

The work Passionberry Marketing completes as part of the Google Digital Marketing function is just one piece of our overall marketing campaigns with our clients. Our goal is to develop strong, automated systems to support our clients’ business growth individually and/or as part of a network of stores – this is a great opportunity for a bright student to experience first-hand what it is like to work in a Marketing Agency!

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Complete Google Analytic and AdWord reporting on a monthly basis
  • Create AdWord campaigns under the guidance of an expert
  • Complete simple SEO tasks as directed
  • Provide ideas and thoughts on how to improve the Digital Marketing to achieve objectives identified

The successful student will:

  • Be a third year student studying either Commerce, Marketing or Media
  • Have a keen interest in digital marketing, in particular Google Marketing
  • Have strong analytical thinking skills
  • Have an understanding of Marketing Principles
  • Have an excellent command of the English language (given the need to write AdWords copy)
  • Have a positive mindset, entrepreneurial focus and be interested in learning from experience professionals who will dedicate time mentoring you.

The position will be based at our Leichardt Office (314 Norton Street, Leichardt NSW). The successful student will be required to work 100 hours between March 2017 and June 2017 and will be required to negotiate the working day per week with the organisation before commencing the role.

EXPECTED COMMENCEMENT DATE: Week 2, Session 1 2017 (week commencing 6 March 2017).

Please note that this is an unpaid placement, however, it will provide valuable work experience. The successful student must enrol in FOBE200 or FOBE300 in Session 1, 2017 and be able to fit this unit as an elective in their program. See the Student Handbook for details on this unit. The unit will give you academic credit for the placement
