Research Scientist, CSIRO Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics
Mark Horn (B.Arch Hons, M.C.P) is a Research Scientist with CSIRO Mathematics, Informatics and Statistics. Since joining CSIRO in 1987 he has made substantial research contributions in a number of fields, including spatial information systems, environmental planning, operations research, risk management and transportation analysis. He has recently commenced several projects concerned with the service operations of organizations in the private and public sector, and on economic and social aspects of Next-Generation Broadband. In these fields there is clearly a need for new research on the impacts of teleworking on patterns of urban travel and land use, and on the consequent implications for public policy.
