Dr Yvette Blount and Prof Jim Piper - Ambasadors and Future Leaders for BESydney

BESydney hosted the Business Events Sydney’s 2013 Ambassador Dinner and Investiture on May 13th, in which they announced their new Ambassadors and Future Leaders for 2013.
Dr Yvette Blount, a lecturer in the Department of Accounting and Corporate Governance, was appointed as one of four new Future Leaders, having presented to BESydney on April 8th 2013 her research in the field of teleworking and the Australia Anywhere Working Research Network, of which she is the Research Coordinator. Dr Yvette Blount will also be presenting at the Digital Productivity in the Workplace of the Future conference, which is a free event June 2013 hosted by Centre for Workforce Futures.
Professor Jim Piper, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Research at Macquarie University, has been appointed as an Ambassador for BESydney.
BESydney is a partnership between the NSW Government and the private sector, which aims to promotes Sydney as a business events destination. BESydney has a global network, connecting with Europe, Asia and the Americas.
