Congratulations to Maggie Lee for winning the Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Endeavour Award

Faculty of Business and Economics undergraduate student, Maggie Lee has won the prestigious Prime Minister’s Australia Asia Endeavour Award.  The Prime Minister’s Award provides scholarships for the nation’s best and brightest university students toPhoto of Maggie Lee undertake study and gain valuable experience through internships and work placements in Asia.

As one of only twenty undergraduate scholarship winners Maggie will use her award to enrol at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in order to gain a deeper understanding of Risk Management and Actuarial Studies in Asia. She also intends to study Fourier Analysis and Functional Analysis to enhance and consolidate her technical and analytical skills as a future actuary.

Maggie also plans to undertake her internship with two different organisations in Hong Kong – the HSBC Bank and Hong Kong’s central banking institution, The Hong Kong Monetary Authority, thereby gaining both a public and private perspective.

Maggie is currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Commerce (Actuarial Studies) with a Bachelor of Science (Mathematics) degree.

The Faculty of Business and Economics congratulates Maggie Lee on this great achievement.
