Bachelor of Business Leadership and Commerce students visit Woolworths headquarters
On Monday 15th September, our Bachelor of Business Leadership and Commerce students were lucky enough to be invited to Woolworths headquarters.
The afternoon was jam packed with a number of leadership focused activities including, a talk from a senior member of staff and even a group cooking challenge. The supermarket giant gave students a tour of their Bella Vista headquarters where it's IT, Marketing, Finance, Legal and HR departments are based.
Macquarie University alumni, Teresa Chan & Phillip Ho, both current employees of Woolworths, gave students insight into their transition from Macquarie University to work life at Woolworths. They spoke about different leaders they have been exposed to and the leadership opportunities they have been given while part of the Graduate program at Woolworths.

"I personally really enjoyed this afternoon and getting to meet employees and hear about their experience. I thought the leadership activity was very interesting in the way it showed the importance of certain leadership styles. I was very impressed with the facility and the amount of work that is actually put in for Woolworths to be successful."
