CPA Big Break
The CPA Big Break Project is a competition that gives students the opportunity to solve real-world business challenges that face a particular not-for-profit organisation.
Through various essays and presentations, students had to demonstrate their ability to think strategically, demonstrate leadership and apply a global perspective to the challenge.
We are pleased to announce that from a total of 140 NSW entrants, Rumana Yasmin & Maggie Wang, 2 Macquarie University students studying at the City Campus, achieved 2nd place.
“This has been a fantastic opportunity for the students and we are extremely proud of their achievements. We wish them all the luck and success.” says Nathan Asher, Campus Director & Principal, Macquarie City Campus.
Adding to her success, Rumana Yasmin has also been selected along with 45 other students from around the world to meet the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong. As one of the winners of the 'CPA Make Your Mark' competition, Rumana will have the opportunity to hear Neil's tales of courage, triumph and going beyond the final frontier.
We hope Rumana will be just as inspired to explore new horizons to help shape her future!
Congratulations to Rumana and Maggie.
