Sponsorship Sales Manager – IQPC Sydney

A leader in the conference arena with offices in 8 countries, IQPC delivers over 1500 conferences annually. Based in Victoria, our vibrant London office is populated by a cosmopolitan mixture of multilingual and talented professionals. The office is active in most industry sectors, but particularly prominent in Process Excellence, Oil and Gas, Pharmaceutical, Legal, Finance and Telecoms.

The Sponsorship Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business relationships and securing sponsorship investment on our conferences. We are growing our portfolio of events and therefore you will have the chance to sell on established products as well as new exciting launches for our business. You will be working on a variety of campaigns over the year.

The Sponsorship Sales Manager will need to feel comfortable leading detailed conversations with international businesses in these sectors. You will need to identify challenges that their businesses face currently and create solutions accordingly. You will need to achieve monthly revenue targets and manage your own sales pipeline.

The sponsorship sales manager will need to work closely with the conference director on each event as well as the marketing, delegate sales and operations team internally in order to deliver a successful event. As the events that you sell on are international, some flexibility on working hours may be required. You must be confident networking with your clients at our events and able to attend some events over the course of the year.

Sponsorship Sales Manager Requirements:

  • A proven track record in a B2B sales environment (2 years +)
  • A solid sales process: experience in SPIN selling would be beneficial
  • Strong closing abilities
  • Strong business development skills
