Goran chose the Bachelor of Commerce (major in Marketing) degree for the diverse and flexible career options it offers graduates. “Business and Economics are subjects I really enjoyed and excelled in secondary education however I was unsure how to take advantage of this interest. I realised that I did not want a profession that is repetitive and routine. Marketing degree was ideal as it opens up a variety of opportunities like Brand Management, Marketing Research and even Business Development. Most importantly career opportunities are enormous.”
Today, Goran works for the biggest FMCG organisation in the world, Procter & Gamble. Over the past four years he has had a diverse range of roles, from handling $30 million accounts, to developing marketing strategies for Oral-B and Braun and now People Management. “Macquarie University provided me with the foundational education & set me up for success by developing strengths that made me more attractive to large firms. I can safely say that Macquarie University’s Marketing degree set me up for a dream career that is creative, diverse and flexible.”
