"I'm James Zhao, I work at Westpac Institutional Bank, Natural resources team. I am a credit analyst and I am allocated a portfolio of customers. I need to monitor their financial performance on an ongoing basis, assess their management, look at their overall business risks and operational risks.
The natural resources team banks customers for the entire production chain ranging from digging it up from under the ground, right through to the final product where we're distributing it to the consumers.
Coming from business at Macquarie University has given me strong foundation, and underlying knowledge to succeed in the early stages of my career. I take comfort in knowing that I've completed a well-known degree from a reputable university.
Studying at Macquarie University for the last 5 years of my life has really shaped who I am today, and I wouldn't change any of that."
