One of the key reasons for choosing the highly flexible double degree was that it opened up a number of opportunities in terms of career choices. Klaudia completed the Bachelor of Business Administration (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (BBA BA Psy) which provided a strong basic understanding of HRM, finance, management and marketing principles combined with organisational psychology.
Today, Klaudia is in a Generalist role within BT Investment Management. Having a BBA differentiated Klaudia in the HR Generalist market and provided a great base understanding of overall business management principles. Coupled with her background in Psychology, it gave very strong foundations for a rounded HR role. In a Generalist role, Klaudia is responsible for end-to-end HR processes in the organisation including recruitment, induction, performance management, workplace investigations, learning & development and coaching of managers in people management.
Working in the funds management industry for a top 10 Australian Fund manager, there are high expectation's placed on the HR team by the business. Together, the two degrees have prepared Klaudia for a successful career. The BBA has allowed Klaudia to build on her business knowledge and gain an understanding of the principles of funds management whilst the organisational psychology background has been invaluable in understanding the drivers of behaviours in the workplace.
