I always liked the green, natural feel to the campus, unlike many other universities I was considering, and its many transport options made the university that much easier to get to. I also liked the idea of getting to choose my own timetable and pick my own classes – a concept that is still a source of envy amongst my friends from other universities! I also chose Macquarie for its reputation for producing well-rounded graduates with interdisciplinary and industry-focused degrees.

I chose my degrees because the Bachelor of Business Administration with the Bachelor of Laws has a diverse study programme that allows students to get a feel for most areas of commerce before allowing you to specialise in your later years. This is informed by an understanding of fundamental legal principles and knowledge of our Western legal tradition.

From swimming daily at the Sports and Aquatic Centre, to relaxing amidst the manicured grounds of the campus, from being a member of many vibrant student societies, to learning with world-class academics, I have enjoyed my time at Macquarie University immensely. I look forward to adding a new chapter to my university experience as I embark on a semester exchange in 2012.
